Initially founded in 1853 as Burke Shipping, DSG acquired the historic Belfast operation in 1987.

From its initial days as a ships agent it has developed services with stevedoring, customs clearance , warehousing and worldwide logistics. DSG Belfast also has Agency de partments in Larne and Foyle Port to ensure almost total coverage of Northern Irish ports.

Specialising in Renewable Energy projects for over 20 years, DSG has established itself as the formal leader in the sector, working with such companies as MHIVestas, Siemens Gamesa, Nordex, GE Wind. The group operates both stevedoring and all logistical needs of these organisations.

DSG Belfast also plays a prominent role in our clerical and trade enabling departments, having developed prominent Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding activities over the years and plays a prominent role in Brexit related matters for the group.
