Greenore Port is Ireland’s only privately owned port, having been acquired by DSG in 2014.

Situated just inside the entrance to Carlingford Lough, the port is located next to the important Dublin-Belfast Economic Corridor, which is connected to te eM1 motorway by 15k of uncongested roadway. An Bord Pleanala, the Irish planning authority, has deemed Greenore Port one of the country’s critical infrastructure assets.

We handle general cargo, project cargo and a variety of commodities including; animal feed, rock, fertiliser and steel. The port is the main steel port in Ireland, while bulk operations are supported by 34,000 square feet of warehousing in situ, a 12,000 MT silo, as well as 100,000 MT of outside storage space.

Having recently completed an extensive port dredging project to remove over 7000 tonnes of rock from the harbour bed, Greenore Port can accommodate vessels of 60,000DWT, 7M Draft, 200M LOA.
